492Q发动机投产20多年来,全国产量累计达150万台以上,原设计选用材料不尽合理,不恰当地过多地采用铝制件,片面追求比重量轻,忽略了铝制件本身的弱点,如刚度差、不耐腐蚀、成本高等问题。连年来随着铝材料、协作件涨价及能源紧张等因素,北京内燃机总厂从实际出发,果断地采取了“以铁代铝”措施,解决了生产难题,提高了经济效益,是可行的,是有成效的。本刊1989年第8期曾经发表了北内杨善义等三位同志“当务之急是以铁代铝”的文章,本期刊登一篇从使用者角度谈谈自己的看法,以对过去生产的150万台发动机、大修改装代用时可供借鉴。
