十七大报告指出,高举中国特色社会主义伟大旗帜,最根本的就是要坚持中国特色社会主义道路和中国特色社会主义理论体系。中国特色社会主义理论体系,就是包括邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想以及科学发展观等重大战略思想在内的科学理论体系。中国特色社会主义理论体系是不断发展的开放的理论体系。在当代中国,坚持中国特色社会主义理论体系,就是真正坚持马克思主义。
The report of the 17th National Party Congress pointed out that the most important thing in holding high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics is to uphold the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics is a scientific theoretical system that includes major strategic ideas such as Deng Xiaoping Theory, the “Three Represents,” and the Scientific Outlook on Development. The theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics is an open and developing theoretical system. In contemporary China, to adhere to the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics is to truly uphold Marxism.
