排排《骆驼祥子》虎妞这个角色时,我是有患得患 失思想的,认为有北京人艺几代艺术家舒绣文、叶子、李婉芬老师塑造的虎妞,几乎家喻户晓的电影斯琴高娃塑造的虎妞,京剧再演能比得上人家吗?再说我是演大青衣的,和虎妞沾不上边,更谈不上如何超越这几座艺术大山了!但因为领导信任,我没有退路。也许是种无形的力量吧,艺友陶泽如、杨丽莉、李映雪和团里的合作者都鼓励我接排这个极具挑战性的角色。我冒雨骑车几乎跑遍了南京城寻找老舍先生的著作和电影碟片。我开始静心地钻进去,拜读文学巨匠、伟大的语言大师老舍先生的原作《骆驼祥子》。读好这部巨著是创作好虎妞这个角色的重要前提。老舍先牛笔下栩栩如生的人物形象深深地感染着我,刺激着我的创作欲望。导演石玉昆同志要求我们必须创作出老舍味儿、京味儿、京剧味儿,根据这三点要求去体味虎妞这个人物。可以说这是我从艺以来最痛苦的一次创作,真正尝到寝食不安、夜不能眠的滋味。

I rode the bike almost traveled all over Nanjing to find Mr. Lao She’s books and film discs. I began to meditate to drill into reading the literary master, the great master of language, Mr. Lao She, the original “camel Xiangzi.” Reading this masterpiece is an important prerequisite for the creation of a tiger girl. Lao She first vivid under the animal characters deeply infected with me, stimulating my creative desire. Director Shi Yukun comrades asked us to create Laoshee taste children, Beijing taste children, Peking Opera taste, according to these three requirements to appreciate the tiger this character. It can be said that this is my most painful since the creation of a work, really taste the restless sleep, the night can not sleep the taste.
