群众文化顾名思义是由群众广泛参与的群体的、大众的文化。它大都是由群众自己写自己,自己演自己,自己唱自己和自我表现、自我参与的大众文化。它与那些听别人唱、看别人演和听得到但看不懂,看的见但看不明白的所谓群众文化是有着本质的区别。群众文化的主体应该是群体,是群众把自己的日常生活或劳动,精神生活或个人追求等用自己喜欢的方式表现出来或进行有益宣泄的一种形式。
As the name suggests, mass culture is a mass and mass culture extensively participated by the masses. It is mostly composed of the masses writing themselves, performing themselves, singing themselves and showing themselves, and participating in popular culture. It is essentially different from the so-called mass culture of listening to others, watching others and hearing, but not reading, seeing but not reading. The main body of mass culture should be a group. It is a form in which the masses present their own daily life or labor, mental life or personal pursuit in a way they like or provide for their venting.
