菲利浦公司对新研制的2.5Gb/s传输系统进行了测试,测试证明该系统无中继距离可达153km。测试是在德国Philips Kommunikations Iadustrie AG的实验室稳定的工作条件下在一根单模光纤上进行的。测试所用的元件,部分是新近研制的用于同步多路复用传输系统的元件,澳大利亚现场试验也用这些元件。该光纤系统用于大区域网络,工作波长在第3窗口——1550nm,最大传输速率为2.5Gb/s,相当于每个信道码速为64kb/s的30720个数字信道。
Philips company newly developed 2.5Gb / s transmission system was tested, the test proved that the system without relay distance up to 153km. The test was performed on a single-mode fiber under laboratory stable operating conditions at Philips Kommunikations Iadustrie AG, Germany. The components used in the test were, in part, newly developed components for a synchronous multiplexed transmission system and were also used in field trials in Australia. The fiber optic system is used in large area networks and operates at window 3 of 1550nm with a maximum transmission rate of 2.5Gb / s, which is equivalent to 30720 digital channels with a code rate of 64kbps per channel.
