The application of sewage sludge to the soil improves the nutritional level of the crop. As sewage sludge contains industrial waste, harmful substances, especially heavy metals, may be toxic to crops and humans while supplying crop nutrients. This experiment was to observe the absorption of zinc and cadmium from barley in the soil treated with sewage sludge of known metal content. Test soil: Dublin loam, cation exchange capacity. 20meq / 100g, saturated mud pH 5.5. Sewage sludge is divided into two kinds of Pacheco and Oakland, Pacheco sludge taken from the suburbs, the reactor, dried and applied, the average N, Zn, Cd, respectively, 1.1%
