The question of deconstructing “what is the essence of morality” is very mysterious. Using it for discussion makes it very easy for the Chinese to think of Laozi’s “moral scriptures” and remind Westerners of the famous warning phrase on Kant’s tombstone. I think Kant is modest and serious, while Lao Tzu is pretentious. I do not think that the moral scriptures answer this question, or even take a step forward in explaining this issue. Instead, it makes people more confused. In my opinion, the so-called “can Road, very Road; famous, not famous” is to allow listeners to put their minds about “moral”
