安·兰德(1905—1982)是俄裔美国作家、哲学家,青年时代从苏联流亡美国,以其小说和哲学论述闻名于世。安·兰德推崇理性,她不顾传统舆论,赞同个人主义,认为不能使个人利益得到伸张的社会,就不是理想社会。她一生著述百余种,根据她生平拍摄的纪录片和故事片曾获奥斯卡奖。1982年,安·兰德去世,此后美国创立了许多兰德书友会和专门研究安·兰德思想的机构。最近,重庆出版社“重现经典”系列集中整理、再版了安·兰德三本最重要的代表作《源泉》、《阿特拉斯耸耸肩》以及《一月十六日夜》,让我们得以一窥安·兰德奇妙而又深刻的哲学世界。
Ann Lande (1905-1982), a Russian-American writer and philosopher, exiled to the United States from the Soviet Union in his youth and is known for his novels and philosophical discourses. Ann Rand ignores the rational, she ignored the traditional media, agree with individualism, that can not be made to extend the interests of the individual society, it is not an ideal society. She has written more than a hundred species throughout her life and won an Academy Award for documentaries and feature films based on her life. Since Ann Lander died in 1982, the United States has since established many Rand book clubs and institutions devoted to Ann Lander’s thinking.
