中国的经济需要现代化,中国的经济学也需要现代化。越来越多的经济学同仁正在意识到这一点。由北京天则经济研究所编、张曙光任执行主编的《中国经济学1994》(上海人民出版社1995年出版)一书,就是为促进中国经济学的现代化所作的一个探索。 《中国经济学1994》是一本文集,共收入12篇文章。这些文章是从《经济研究》、《改革》等海内外一流中文经济学理论刊物1994年发表的文章中选编出来的,其中选自《经济研究》发表的文章有7篇。既然是选编,编者当然有其选录的标准,这些标准已由其执行主编张曙光在为全书所写前言中作了详细的论述。但是作为圈外人的读者们所最关心的,当然不是该书的编者们以什么作选录标准、他们是否遵守了这一标准,而是该书选入的文章本身是否真的促进了中国经济学的现代化。对于中国经济学现代化的标准,笔者有自己的看法,这 China’s economy needs to be modernized and China’s economy needs modernization.
