外滩金融铜牛,位于中山东一路福州路口,是上海外滩金融广场的标志。这件“外滩牛”落成于2010年5月15日,由华尔街铜牛的设计者阿图罗·迪·莫迪卡制作。铜像自重达2.5吨、长5.2米、高3.2米的铜质,线条深邃、肌肉结实,周身呈现出红铜色,牛眼圆睁,头部转向右边,牛尾则卷曲上扬,呈螺旋状蜿蜒指向天空,四肢强健有力,气势十足。铜牛是“力量和勇气”的象征,喻义着只要铜牛在,股市就能永保“牛”市。“外滩牛”体现出中国经济和上海经济活力、年轻、有力的特点,是外滩金融文化的象征。
