凡是看过香港青年钢琴家邓宛霞演出的京剧《白蛇传》、昆剧《游园惊梦》《写状》等戏的人,差不多都以十分惊讶和钦佩的口气赞赏她的艺术才能和对戏曲艺术认真钻研的刻苦精神。许多人简直不相信,邓宛霞学会京剧、昆曲艺术只用了短短三年不到的时间。我第一次同邓宛霞合作是在1982年8月,那年我应邀赴香港与邓宛霞合演《白蛇传》。这是邓宛霞首次演出大型京剧。我听说她是那年3月学会《白蛇传》
