在移动互联网时代,以微信为代表的OTT应用不仅给通信运营商带来了挑战,例如短信和语音业绩的下滑,还带来了机遇,例如流量业务的增长。本文总结了运营商所面临的挑战和机遇,并比较了合作、封杀、抵制、竞争这四种应对策略的成效。基于不同策略之间的比较,我们认为合作是运营商的可行策略,并对运营商进行了SWOT分析。
In the mobile Internet era, OTT applications represented by WeChat not only posed challenges to communications operators, such as the decline of SMS and voice performance, but also brought opportunities such as traffic growth. This article summarizes the challenges and opportunities that operators face, and compares the effectiveness of the four coping strategies of cooperation, blocking, boycott and competition. Based on the comparison of different strategies, we think cooperation is a viable strategy for operators and SWOT analysis is carried out for operators.
