虚拟语气是英语语法教学中的一个难点。虚拟语气这一语法现象是说话人在表示与事实相反或难以实现的假设情况,或表示主观愿望,或表示某种强烈情感时所采用的一种谓语动词的形式,它主要用于含有非真实条件从句的复合句中。由于汉语中没有与此对应的语法现象,且其规则较为琐碎,故学生多认为虚拟语气难以理解,更难以掌握。在教学实践过程中,结合上海交大和复旦大学英语教材的有关内容,将虚拟语气的讲解分为三部分进行,收效甚好。这三部分是:条件句中的虚
Subjunctive mood is a difficult point in English grammar teaching. The grammatical phenomenon of the subjunctive mood is a form of predicate verbs used by the speaker to represent an assumed situation that is contrary to or difficult to realize, or represents a subjective desire, or expresses a strong sentiment. It is mainly used in situations involving non-truth Conditional clause compound sentence. Because there is no grammatical phenomenon in Chinese, and its rules are trivial, many students think that the subjunctive mood is difficult to understand and harder to grasp.
