1、問題的来源为了貫彻党的教学、生产、研科三結合的方針,我們都渴望把所掌握的数学知識应用到生产建設中去,解决生产建設中的数学问题,提高工作效率。显然,这是非常有意义的工作。在党的領导下,經过教育革命以后,思想认識更加提高了,明确了工作的方向。1959年夏,我组同志到四川省地貭局測繪队去收集科研問題,了解到他們在技朮革新运动中,提出迫切需要簡化子午线收(佥欠)角γ的計算法,加快工作速度;我們决定协助解决这个問題。在他們的工作中,收(佥欠)角γ是按下式計算的。
