随着我国经济的飞速发展以及社会主义现代化建设的不断完善,教育教学在社会发展中的作用越来越突出,它不仅关系到学生的学习质量,而且是衡量一个国家综合国力的重要指标。高职高专开展英语教学的目的在于培养社会需要的实用型人才,提升学生的英语能力。但是以往的高职英语教学过于重视理论传授,教学方法单一,不利于学生学习兴趣的提升,培养出的学生也很难适应社会发展的新要求,忽视了能力的培养。面对这样的现状,高职高专院校一定要改变以往的英语教学模式,坚持创新教育,不断提升教学的实效性,丰富课外实践和英语应用活动,坚持创新型人才的培养。为了有效达到这一目标,本文就结合高职高专英语教学的现状,简单阐述一下其存在的主要问题,并分析提出切实可行的对策予以完善,坚持做到教学创新,从而培养出社会需要的健全人才。
With the rapid economic development in our country and the constant improvement of socialist modernization, the role of education and teaching in social development is becoming more and more prominent. It not only relates to the quality of students’ learning, but also an important indicator of the overall national strength of a country. The purpose of English teaching in higher vocational colleges is to cultivate practical talents needed by society and enhance students’ English proficiency. However, in the past, the teaching of English in higher vocational colleges paid too much attention to the theory teaching and the teaching method was single, which was unfavorable to the improvement of students’ interest in learning. It was also difficult for the students who were trained to adapt to the new requirements of social development and neglected the ability cultivation. Faced with such a situation, higher vocational colleges must change the previous English teaching mode, insist on innovation education, continuously improve the effectiveness of teaching, enrich extracurricular practice and English application activities, and uphold the cultivation of innovative talents. In order to effectively achieve this goal, this article combines the status quo of English teaching in higher vocational colleges, briefly describes the main problems of its existence, and analyzes the practical countermeasures to improve, adhere to the teaching innovation, so as to cultivate social needs Sound talent.
