超荧光光纤光源(SFS)具有高稳定性,是光纤传感器(FOSs)中一种理想的光源。SFS光源的相对强度噪声(RIN)是影响FOSs性能的一个重要的因素。由于使用模拟抑制电路的噪声抑制系统无法很好的抑制RIN,文中提出了使用强度调制器的数字RIN抑制系统。为了验证此想法,建立了半实物仿真模型,该模型可以在中心频率处抑制RIN达到20 dB。该数字系统相对原有模拟系统,性能有了很大的提高,因此对FOSs性能的提高有很大的贡献。
The high stability of the SFP fiber makes it an ideal light source for fiber optic sensors (FOSs). The relative intensity noise (RIN) of SFS light sources is an important factor affecting the performance of FOSs. Since the noise suppression system using the analog suppression circuit can not suppress the RIN well, a digital RIN suppression system using the intensity modulator is proposed in the article. To test this idea, a semi-physical simulation model was built that suppresses the RIN to 20 dB at the center frequency. Compared with the original analog system, the digital system has greatly improved its performance and therefore greatly contributes to the improvement of FOSs performance.
