视唱练耳课程在音乐院校的教学中是一门十分重要的基础课程,是音乐综合性相当强的一门学科。它涵盖了大量的音乐理论知识,涉及到乐理、和声、复调、曲式、配器等课程内容。视唱练耳的训练包括了读谱能力、听辨能力、节奏感和音乐感受及表现能力等内容。与此同时,视唱练耳的学习还影响到了声乐、器乐、理论作曲诸多专业的学习。近一个世纪以来,我国借鉴西方音乐体系,在艺术高校建立了视唱练耳学科,并将其作为一门提高学生综合音乐素质的必修课,它从产生之日起就为音乐的传播提供着更方便、统一的条件以建立起更通俗易懂的音乐煤介。
