哈罗德·品特是英国最杰出的荒诞派戏剧作家,在戏剧创作过程中,品特的作品被分为三个创作阶段,早期的代表作品有《看管人》《归家》《房屋》《送菜直升机》和《生日晚会》,他的作品被赋予“威胁喜剧”的称号,我国文学中将品特的作品更多地归结于荒诞派戏剧作品,事实上,他的作品风格远远不止荒诞派一个风格,荒诞性只是其中最为突出的特征,作品中有更多现实主义的传统因素,可以说是荒诞和现实特征的结合。本文主要选取品特早期的戏剧作品进行分析,通过分析品特作品中荒诞性特征,进一步探讨作品中存在的现实主义成分以及该成分与荒诞性的结合。
Harold Pinter is one of the most prominent absurd theater writers in the United Kingdom. In the process of drama creation, Pinter’s works are divided into three creative stages. Early works include “custodians”, “go home”, “houses” “Send Vegetable Helicopter” and “Birthday Party,” his work was given the title of “Threatening Comedy.” In our literature, Pinter’s works are more attributed to the absurdist dramatic works. In fact, his style of work Far more than absurdism, absurdity is only one of the most prominent features. There are more realistic elements of the realism in the works, which can be described as a combination of absurdity and realistic features. This paper mainly analyzes the early dramatic works of Pinter and analyzes the absurd features in Pinter’s works to further explore the combination of the realistic elements existing in the works and the absurdity.
