我从1989年开始至今,已发表粤剧艺术评论文章50多篇,其中有相当部分是从美学的角度评论粤剧艺人的表演的。美有多种形态,从艺术的表现来看,有秀美、壮美、悲剧美、喜剧美等。我在《试析曹秀琴粤剧表演中的秀美形象》一文中,把曹秀琴看作是粤剧舞台上秀美的典型。至于壮美方面,我评论过白燕仔的《武松打虎》、《夜战马超》等。在写桂名扬时,重点是他主演的《赵子龙》,还延伸到梁荫棠、小神鹰主演的《赵子 Since 1989, I have published more than 50 articles on the art of Cantonese opera, and a considerable part of it has commented on the performances of Cantonese opera artists from an aesthetic point of view.
