Looking back into history, it can be learned that the ideas of Renaissance Humanism has bee rooted in many scholars: Michelet, Burchhardtit, Pater, Hans Baron, Huizinga, Leonardo Bruni, Paul Oscar and Kristeller. Explaining the contribution of these scholars to the ideas of Renaissance Humanism, a definition of Renaissance Humanism is offered at the end of the paper.
