从国内外收集２０多个草坪草品种，进行小区栽培试验，寻找出适应于西安地区生长的适应性强、草坪坪床性状优良、抗逆性好、建植快捷、耐粗放管理、绿期长的７种优质草坪草。其中适应性表现最好的有草地早熟禾、高羊茅、多年生黑麦草、紫羊茅、剪股颖、狗牙根、小冠花；建坪快、侵占能力强的为多年生黑麦草、狗牙根、匍匐剪股颖；青绿期长的主要是冷季型草坪草、草地早熟禾，剪股颖，多年生黑麦草。
We collected more than 20 turfgrass varieties from home and abroad to carry out community cultivation experiments to find out the adaptability to the growth in Xi’an. The turfgrass beds have good traits, good resistance, quick planting, extensive management, long green period Of 7 kinds of high quality lawn grass. Among them, the best adaptability was Kentucky bluegrass, Tall fescue, perennial ryegrass, Fritillaria sinensis, Prunus divaricata, Bermudagrass, Creeping cut Ying Ying; green long period of the main cold-season turf grass, Kentucky bluegrass, cut grass Ying, perennial ryegrass.
