复旦大学主编的《大学英语》(文理科本科用)精读第四册第六单元课文中有这样一句话:“I’d no more scrible all over a first edition of“Paradise Lost”than I’d give my baby a set of crayons and an original Rembrandt!”此句的中文含义为:我决不会在一本初版的《关乐园》上乱涂乱写,就象我不会把一幅伦勃朗的原作连同一盒蜡笔交给我的小孩任意涂抹一样!该句中出现了“no+比较级(more)than名型。这种句型的基本意思是“B不,A也不:A和B一样不。例如: 1.This machine is no more worse than that one. 这部机器和那部一样好。
