提到美国文理学院,很多人都误以为这些学院只提供文科类课程。其实,虽然这些学校的文科类课程的确比较突出,但也有不少学校的工程专业也是相当不错的。今天,笔者将为大家介绍三所位于不同地区的工程专业顶尖牛校:加利福尼亚州的Harvey Mudd College(哈维姆德学院),纽约州的Cooper Union(库珀联合学院),宾夕法尼亚州的Bucknell University(巴克纳尔大学)。其中,哈维姆德学院更有“西部麻省理工”之称;在库珀联合学院,电子工程、通讯工程、化学、计算机工程和机械工程等专业都是热门专业;而巴克纳尔大学的化学、土木工程和机械工程专业也颇受欢迎。
When it comes to the American College of Arts and Sciences, many people mistakenly believe that these colleges only provide liberal arts courses. In fact, although the liberal arts courses in these schools are indeed prominent, there are quite a few engineering departments in schools which are quite good. Today, I will introduce you to three of the premier engineering specialty cow schools in different regions: Harvey Mudd College in California, Cooper Union in New York State, Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, (Bucknell University). Among them, Harvard College is more known as “Western Massachusetts Institute of Technology”; at Cooper Union College, electronic engineering, communications engineering, chemistry, computer engineering and mechanical engineering and other professions are hot professionals; and Bucknell University chemistry, civil engineering and mechanical engineering is also very popular.
