冬枣是黄河三角洲地区特有的珍稀晚熟、鲜食品种资源,一般在10月中旬成熟,成熟较晚,故称冬枣。冬枣果形近苹果形,单果重20~30g,果皮赭红色,光亮,以其甜、脆、口感细腻、营养丰富、品质独特而著称。具优良的品质,除了与其种质特性、产地生态环境因素相关外,也与株型塑造等栽培技术密切相关。经过近3年的技术研究,我们总结出了一整套优质高产株型塑造技术,即根据冬枣的生物学特性、生长发育、养分分配规律,采取合理的整型修剪,使其枝条在时空分布上处于最佳状态,塑造出优质高产的适宜株型。
