Dual Atrioventricu-br Nodal Pathways (DP) is an electrophysiological abnormality in the conduction of the AV node, which is present in about 10.3% of patients with heart disease. Currently, DP is considered to be the electrophysiological basis for many arrhythmias and about half of cases of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) are due to dual-channel reentry.
