Objective To understand the occurrence and development of ophthalmology opacity in radiation workers and propose protective measures. Methods A total of 420 radiation workers were surveyed for health checkup data, the results of eye lens examination were analyzed, and the influencing factors of lens opacity were discussed. Results The ophthalmological opacity of radiation workers was related to the cumulative dose, length of service and type of work. The cumulative opacity exceeded 5 m Sv, or the radiological age greater than 10 years significantly increased the opacity of the lens, and the opacification rate of the lens of the interventional radiologist was higher than other departments Radiation staff. Conclusion Chronic low dose radiation has an effect on the lens opacity.
