90年前,中国共产党在湖南、江西两省边界地区领导农民自卫军、工人纠察队和革命士兵举行起义,这就是著名的湘赣边界秋收起义。之所以著名,是因为它创造了中国革命和人民军队历史上的数个第一——第一次在武装斗争中公开打出中国共产党的旗帜;第一次创建了共产党领导下的工农革命军;起义受挫后进行整顿改编,第一次把支部建在连上,成为新型人民军队建设的重要开端;放弃进攻大城市,在井冈山开创了第一个农村革命根据地,成为中国革命历史中具有决定意义的新起点。
