兰州军区某集团军工兵团组建于1985年10月。四年多来,部队从北到南,由东到西,任务不断转换,党委班子成员有出有进,但党委“一班人”始终坚持在艰苦的环境、艰苦的工作中发扬党的密切联系群众的优良传统,增强了凝聚力和号召力,先后带领部队参加了老山作战、陕南特大哑炮群排险、蓝田抗洪抢险、支援国家“七五”重点建设项目——金川镍矿二期扩建工程等急难险重任务,多次受到集团军和军区的表彰,团队荣立集体三等功,团党委被集团军评为“先进团党委”。
