小灌木林带系由野玫瑰、水横枝、鸡屎藤及其他小灌木杂草组成。林带的高度为0.7～2.5米,深度一般为3～5米。土质多半为半泥沙土,有不少杂草腐植质覆盖土表。林带均一片一片地分布在低洼积水旁及塘沟边。为了探讨小灌木林带的钉螺分布情况及灭螺方法,我们于1963年6月在广东大旺草塘选择一定面积,进行了调查和试验,结果如下。
