本文通过对现存的清至民国时期的土地契约的分析,在前人研究的基础上,把土地交易过程中一些前人还未论及的问题做了一些简单的分析,探讨了天津的永租制、晚清至民国天津土地交易的变化等,试图从土地交易这个侧面,探寻在受到外来压力的冲击、社会急剧转型的情况下传统的土地交易产生的变化,以及土地交易者在这样的情况下的应对方法。
