非语言交际是人类两大交际方式之一,其作用不容小觑。非语言行为既有其自然性,也有其因文化而异的社会性。中国人的非语言交际行为按意识的参与与否来划分,可以分为自觉与不自觉两大类。自觉的信息传递又可以根据内在动机而分为正向传递信息和反向传递信息两类。而反向传递信息这一类,还可以根据其外在表现方式细分为抑制型与张扬型两小类。抑制性反向传递信息是中国人广为异文化交际者所知的非语言交际行为,而张扬型反向传递信息则是中国人最具特色的非语言交际行为。
Non-verbal communication is one of the two major forms of human communication, its role should not be underestimated. Nonverbal behavior has both its natural and its culturally different socialities. Chinese non-verbal communication behavior by the participation of conscious or not, can be divided into two categories of consciously and unconsciously. Consciously information transmission can be divided into two types according to intrinsic motivation: positive information transmission and negative information transmission. The reverse transmission of information in this category, but also can be subdivided into two types according to their external manifestations of inhibitory and publicity type. Inhibitory reverse transmission of information is widely known by Chinese as non-verbal communicators, while propaganda is the most distinctive non-verbal communication among Chinese people.
