大连理工大学的科研人员采用表面活化剂、偶联剂与大分子增容剂、复配活化剂等对水镁石粉体进行表面活化改性处理,用增容剂、复配活化剂包覆水镁石粉,表面活化效果显著,可以制造活化水镁石阻燃剂及其塑料。据此研发出的活化水镁石粉阻燃PA6、ABS、PP、PE、PS等阻燃塑料,阻燃等级达UL94V-0、UL94V-1级,可广泛用于家电、建材、交通等领域。
