1986年6月30日至7月4日,由联合国教科文组织、国际地球化学和宇宙化学学会、英国皇家学会、英国地球化学学会和欧洲地球化学学会等七个组织联合赞助的第六届国际地质年代学、宇宙年代学和同位素地质学大会在英国文化古城剑桥举行。据统计,大会共有32个国家和地区的近850名代表参加,为上届(1982年,于日本)人数的两倍,提交大会的论文1180余篇,充分反映了这些学科和领域近年来的蓬勃发展。
From June 30 to July 4, 1986, the 6th International Conference sponsored by seven organizations including UNESCO, International Society for Geochemistry and Cosmochemistry, Royal Society of England, British Geochemistry Society and European Geochemical Society Geochronology, cosmochronology and isotope geology conference held in the British cultural city of Cambridge. According to statistics, there are nearly 850 participants from 32 countries and regions attending the conference, more than 1180 papers submitted to the conference for the last time (1982, in Japan), which fully reflected that these disciplines and fields in recent years Flourish.
