Titanium hydrogen has a high affinity, therefore, titanium as a hydrogen storage material by everyone’s attention. However, hydrogen can weaken the material, leading to hydrogen embrittlement. It is reported that the mechanical properties of zirconium metal are affected by the hydrogen absorption, therefore, the effect of hydrogen absorption on the mechanical properties of titanium is also possible. Based on the above view, the effect of hydrogen on the mechanical and electrical properties of titanium in titanium-hydrogen (0 ~ 7.84at%) solid solution was studied.
