张子锐先生是湖北荆门人,他1946年考入四川省立艺术专科学校学习和声、作曲、钢琴,1949年入南京国立音乐院,首届中央音乐学院毕业生。1955年任中央广播局民族乐团作曲、配器,1961年调苏州民族乐器厂,长期致力于民族乐器的改良工作,改良传统乐器近70余个品种。著有论文多部。现为中国音乐家协会会员,中国传统音乐学会会员,中国器乐学会学术委员,苏州市文联艺指委委员,苏州市音乐家协会顾问。此文是上海师范大学笛子研究生张健利用假期采访张子锐先生所得。透过此文,让我们对乐器改革的老前辈张子锐先生鲜为人知的过去有一个了解。本刊刊载张健文略有删节。
Mr. Zhang Zirui is a native of Jingmen, Hubei province. He was admitted to Sichuan Provincial Arts College in 1946 to study harmony, composition and piano. In 1949, he was admitted to Nanjing National Conservatory of Music and the first graduate of Central Conservatory of Music. In 1955, he was the composer and distributor of the Central China National Broadcasting and Orchestra National Orchestra. In 1961, he transferred Suzhou National Musical Instrument Factory and devoted himself to the improvement of national musical instruments for a long time, which improved nearly 70 varieties of traditional musical instruments.
