经省人民政府批准,《浙江政报》自2003年7月15日起,改由浙江省人民政府主办。浙江省人民政府政报自1949年11月创办以来,一直由省政府办公厅主办至今。2000年7月1日施行的《中华人民共和国立法法》第六十二条、第七十七条规定:地方政府规章签署公布后,及时在本级人民政府公报和在本行政区域范围内发行的报纸上刊登。在地方人民政府公报上刊登的规章文本为标准文本。省人民政府于21302年8月14日下发了《关于确定浙江政报刊登的省人民政府规章文本为标准文本的通知》,并确定《浙江政报》行使省人民政府公报的职能。为进一步办好《浙江政报》,提高政府法定出版物的权威性,充分发挥政报在“传达政令、依法行政”中的作用,扩大政策法规和政府规章的宣传,省政府确定将《浙江政报》改由省人民政府主办。
