西北部地区降水较少、水库河流含沙量较高,普遍存在泥沙淤积侵占水库有效库容的问题。鉴于该地区洪水期敞泄拉沙的调度运行方式难以满足水库前期的正常运行调度需求,以某水库为例,通过实体模型试验,研究了库区初始淤积高程对水库拦沙、排沙效果的影响。试验观测了不同初始淤积高程在不同的洪水频率下水库的拦、排沙效果,发现在库区泥沙达到冲淤平衡后进行拉沙才能达到良好的效果,且不会对泄水闸的运行产生不利影响,并在理论分析的基础上对西北多沙河流地区水库的调度运行提出建议。
