After decades of development, the United Kingdom has established a relatively mature media literacy education system suitable for the British national conditions. Since the introduction of the concept of “media literacy” in the 1990s, China has made great progress in theoretical research and has now begun to practice media literacy teaching. The education of media literacy for young people in Britain started earlier and formed a mature system of media literacy education for teenagers, which is a combination of “school-government-society-family”.
