黄渠乡是敦煌市主要的粮棉大乡,土地肥沃,地大滩广。但由于地处偏远,特别是工业、乡镇企业发展缓慢,严重制约着黄渠乡经济的发展。1998年,敦煌市委书记陆代森把黄渠乡作为自己的联系点,他通过大量细致的深入调查,并组织乡、村、组干部认真分析乡情、民意,找准了全乡经济发展的突破口,先后协调争取资金四十多万元,有力地推动了黄渠乡各项事业的顺利发展,受到了该乡群众的称赞。陆代森非常重视该乡的农业科技投入,他多次在乡领导干部会议上强调,要广泛应用科技新成果,
Huangqu Township is Dunhuang City, the main grain and cotton township, fertile land, vast beach. However, due to its remoteness, especially in industry, the development of township and village enterprises is slow, seriously hampering the economic development of Huangqu Township.
