The pedestrian bridge connects the two sides of the city developed in different periods: the east coast is the historic city, the west coast is the new city. It also provides a viewing point detached from the earth, allowing people to see the vast plain of the city in the middle of the canal, where the dense network of canals was once an expanse of paddy fields. We widen the middle of the pedestrian bridge to create a public space. The flared open flanks protect the safety of pedestrians. The design also reflects the anchoring of the structure. Pedestrian bridge rises from the ground, fixed at both ends to ensure balance, while supporting the large foundation of the bridge
