全省人大财经工作座谈会于1999年10月9日至11日在赤壁市召开。各市、州、直管市、神农架林区和部分县市人大常委会及其财经、城建委的负责同志、省人大财经委员会组成人员出席了会议。会议以党的十五大精神为指导,围绕新形势下的人大财经监督工作,重点就如何提高人大对计划、预算审查监督以及经济法律监督质量,沟通了情况,交流了经验,探讨了问题。近年来,全省各地人大财经、城建委在本级人大及其常委会的领导下,依法履行职责,在财经法律监督和工作监督中,积极探索,勇于开拓,做了大量工作,积累了许多宝贵经验,取得了显著的成效。第一,计划、预算审查监督逐步由程序性向实质性推进。为了提高审查
The NPC Financial and Economic Work Symposium was held in Chibi City from October 9 to October 1999.
