陈鹤琴不是专门研究特殊教育的教育家,却对我国近现代特殊教育的发展作出了巨大的贡献。他是我国第一个将心理学应用于特殊儿童教育,并且首先在中国提出对聋儿进行语言教育的教育家。重视特殊教育师资培养、注重对国外先进经验的辩证借鉴、利用多门学科成果来研究特殊教育等都是其特殊教育思想的重要特点。
Chen Heqin is not an educator specializing in special education, but has made a tremendous contribution to the development of modern special education in our country. He is the first educator to apply psychology to special children’s education in China, and first of all proposed language education for deaf children in China. Emphasizing the training of special education teachers, focusing on the dialectical experience of foreign advanced experience, the use of multidisciplinary achievements to study special education is an important feature of its special educational thought.
