牙齿脱落是老年人常见疾病，其中慢性牙周炎是引起牙齿脱落的主要原因。阿尔茨海默病是一种病因未明的常伴有认知功能损害的原发性退行性大脑疾病，具有特征性神经病理和神经化学改变。本文就牙齿脱落与阿尔茨海默病的相关性及相关机制等作一综述。“,”Tooth loss is a common disease in the elderly, and periodontitis is the main cause of tooth loss. Alzheimer′s disease is a primary degenerative brain disease which etiology remains unknown. The patients often demonstrate cognitive impairment with characteristic neuropathological and neurochemical changes. The present article reviewed the relationship and associated mechanisms between tooth loss and Alzheimer′s disease.
