玉米是内蒙古鄂尔多斯地区大田生产的主要农作物之一,哲单7号由于在该地区适应性强、产量高,从推广至今,一直是该地区玉米的主推品种,占到玉米播种量的99%。但是,近年通过检验室纯度鉴定表明,哲单7号纯度普遍偏低,纯度能够达到96%的仅是极个别,即使是该品种,谱带也是错乱不堪,只能在特征谱带区可以看出与其父、母本相一致的谱带。这表现在大田生产中,就是整齐度、一致性较差,适应性减退,产量下降等,这是明显的混杂退化症状。针对这一情况,通过系统的分析,探究其混杂退化的原因,在此基础上,切实地提出一些较为具体的防杂保纯措施。
