我国在社会变迁过程中，经济结构、产业结构及社会资源分配方式的巨大变革，对社会流动产生了直接的影响。调查数据表明，进入９０年代，社会流动的频率、方式、方向及人们的职业流动意愿与意向均发生了较大变化、随着中国加入ＷＴＯ后，社会流动仍会出现新一轮较大级别的变化。
