【Objective】 To explore the effects of high-energy feed on lipid metabolism in SD rats during pregnancy and lactation. [Methods] Fifteen adult SD pregnant rats were randomly divided into control group, high-fat group and high-fat and high glucose group. The rats were given standard diet, high fat diet (containing 20% lard) Feed (with 20% lard and 10% sucrose). The pups were sacrificed at 4 weeks, body weight, liver and perirenal fat mass were measured, and plasma triglyceride, cholesterol, high density lipoprotein and leptin levels were measured. 【Results】 The body weight, liver and perirenal fat mass in the high-fat group [(90.05 ± 6.71), (3.73 ± 0.18) and (0.41 ± 0.12) g] and the high fat and high glucose group [(89.82 ± 5.08) and ± 0.27) and (0.41 ± 0.13) g] in control group were significantly higher than those in control group [(70.60 ± 17.30), (2.87 ± 0.83) and (0.22 ± 0.07) g], respectively (1.72 ± 0.10) were higher than that in high-fat diet group (0.9 ± 0.33) and control group (0.8 ± 0.3) (P <0.05); high fat diet group (0.83 ± 0.54) (P <0.05). The levels of triglyceride and triglyceride in high-fat and high-fat group (0.23 ± 0.08 and 1.16 ± 0.06, 0.26 ± 0.09 and 1.15 ± 0.21, ± 0.04) was lower than the control group (0.50 ± 0.03, 1.26 ± 0.08) (P <0.05). 【Conclusion】 High-energy feed intake during pregnancy and lactation in SD rats resulted in disorders of lipid metabolism such as obesity, dyslipidemia and decreased plasma leptin levels.
