从我国近几年的发展趋势来观察,我国的科学技术突飞猛进的发展,与此相对应的是我国社会经济的飞速进步和人民生活水平的提高。在新的时代背景下,处于中小学阶段的孩子是我们国家向前进的主力军,是带动我们国家走向世界的希望,所以,我们对他们的教育在这种形势下也变得尤为重要。可以肯定的是,在大多数学生在从小学过渡到中学的这个阶段时期中,都会从心理还有生理上发生许多重要的变化,在这一个过渡阶段,由于初中的新环境,再加上新的教学方式和学习方式的变化,大多数孩子还是一时很难在这一个阶段进行一个完美的衔接,所以,他们会产生很多我们难以想象的后果,比如说厌倦学习等等,这样的种种现象会严重制约我们对中学课程的进一步进展工作,所以,如何做好从中学到小学的衔接问题工作,将成为我们新时代背景下教学工作的重要任务之一。所以,本文就以中小学英语工作为例,对我们国家新时代背景下的中小学英语教学衔接过程中出现的一些问题进行简要的探讨,并着重讨论和分析了英语教学工作任务的相关问题的解决方法和对策,有力的推动我国中小学衔接教学工作的开展。
