读了《地球》2001年第6期陈洪洲所著《我国有观测记录到喷发的火山吗?》一文后,笔者手中尚有类似资料,特补充如下:陈洪洲先生论述的是我国东北黑龙江五大连池的火山喷发情景。笔者补充的却是我国西南云南省腾冲火山喷发的史料。腾冲位于云南西部,是滇西的重镇之一。登上高黎贡山之巅,举目西顾,巍峨的腾冲火山群起伏绵延,静静地躺着,象一群沉睡的狮子相互依偎,环抱着腾冲盆地。

Mount Gaoligongshan summit, look west, towering Tengchong volcano group rolling, lying quietly, like a group of sleeping lion cuddling each other, encircling the Tengchong basin.
