论文主要致力于研究台湾在2001年间外文翻译图画故事书的出版状况。调查重点包括:(1)台湾在2001年间引进哪些国家的儿童图画故事书作品并翻译成中文;(2)翻译作品之原文为哪些语言;(3)所呈现的故事内容主题为何。本研究的结果显示,台湾童书出版社在2001年间所出版的翻译图画故事书主要源自于美国、英国、日本、奥地利与比利时等十四个国家;英文、德文及日文为主要翻译语言;故事内容主题反映多样化的特色,但大部分的作品故事皆属描述一般普遍性主题而不是描述或反映特定文化族群。
The dissertation is mainly devoted to studying the publishing situation of the story book of foreign translated pictures in Taiwan during 2001. The survey focused on: (1) what countries were children’s picture storybooks imported from Taiwan in 2001 and translated into Chinese; (2) what language was used to translate the original works; and (3) the theme of the story presented was themed. The results of this study show that the children’s story book translated by Taiwan’s Children’s Publishing House in 2001 mainly comes from fourteen countries such as the United States, Britain, Japan, Austria and Belgium; English, German and Japanese are the main languages of translation The theme of the story reflects the diversity of features, but most of the story of the work is a description of a general theme rather than a description or reflection of a particular cultural group.
