Shortly after the liberation of Guangzhou, I met Mr. Hu Gentian. However, fewer contacts, not deep understanding. After the “Cultural Revolution” ended, I knew he was the director of the Guangzhou Municipal Museum of Cultural History and had visited and proposed the wishes and requirements of joining the Municipal Museum of History. Hu Lao not only warmly welcome me, but also strongly recommend me as an honorary librarian. Soon afterwards, I was glad that the CPC Guangzhou Committee, the United Front Department of the Communist Party of China, approved it. Since then, I have had more chances to contact Mr. Hu Gentian and worship him as a teacher to practice calligraphy. He gave me a bamboo figure and a pair of couplets, there are more than a dozen communications, still preserved, as my treasure collection.
